CREW Fort Worth partners with the Young Women’s Leadership Academy!

Introducing CREW Fort Worth’s partnership with the Young Women’s Leadership Academy!

CREW Fort Worth is excited to announce a new partnership with the Young Women’s Leadership Academy.    At YWLA, Girls in grades 6 through 12 engage in a challenging STEAM-focused curriculum that emphasizes Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Career strands include bio-mechanical engineering and integrated digital media and animation. Accelerated coursework, field-based exploration and personalized academic and college counseling support smooth transitions from middle school to high school, and beyond to college and career.

Through a series of mentoring events, we will introduce the high school students to careers available in the commercial real estate industry.   At these panel presentations, CREW Fort Worth members from different aspects of the real estate industry will explain what they do and how they work together. These presentations would be focused on the freshman or sophomore classes. In the future, as part of a long-term goal, CREW Fort Worth would develop a competitive program for the girls, as part of CREW Network's CREW Careers Program.

Interested in being involved?  We need you!  Please contact Amanda Osburn if you are interested in serving on the YWLA Planning Committee – or serving as a mentor.

We are also excited to host members of the YWLA senior class at our monthly luncheons.  Please be on the lookout for these incredible young women.
